Educational information only

All content on StatSpark — calculators, articles, tables, and examples — is published for general educational purposes. It is not statistical advice and is not a substitute for a qualified professional. We are not the primary source cited in each articles, and no client or advisory relationship is created by your use of this Site.

StatSpark aggregates and explains publicly available statistics from federal agencies, industry surveys, and major research organizations. Figures reflect the most recent data available at each article’s publication; most government statistics lag by 6–18 months, and survey-based numbers carry margins of error we don’t always reproduce.

We present ranges and label uncertainty wherever sources disagree — but for financial, medical, legal, or policy decisions, go to the primary source and the current release. Nothing here is investment, health, or legal advice.

Accuracy of calculations

We implement well-known, publicly documented formulas (see the methodology section on each calculator page and public federal statistics and major industry surveys as applicable). Even correctly implemented formulas produce estimates that depend on your inputs and assumptions. Real-world outcomes vary. Do not rely on a single web tool for a consequential decision.

Advertising disclosure

StatSpark is funded by display advertising served through Google AdSense. Advertisers have no influence over our content, formulas, or editorial choices, and placement of an ad is not an endorsement.
